PRIVACY POLICY

Grasswhoopin' LLC ("we", "us") is a lawn care company serving the Tennessee Valley. This page explains what information we collect through this website and what we do with it. Short version: we collect what we need to whoop your grass and run the business — nothing more, and we don't sell any of it.

What we collect

  • Contact and service details you give us — name, phone number, email, service address, and notes about your yard, when you request an estimate, sign up for service, or contact us.
  • Customer portal account data — if you're a customer using our portal: your sign-in email, service history, scheduling, and billing records.
  • Chat assistant conversations — messages you type to our AI chat assistant. These are processed by AI service providers (currently Anthropic's Claude, via Cloudflare infrastructure) to generate answers. Don't put sensitive information (payment card numbers, SSNs, health info) into the chat — it doesn't need it and we don't want it.
  • Instant estimate requests — the address and yard details you submit to the AI estimator. We look up public parcel/lot-size records for that address (county assessor GIS and public web sources) and use an AI service provider (Anthropic's Claude, via Cloudflare infrastructure) to help word your estimate. The estimate is a ballpark from public data, not a final price.
  • Basic technical data — our hosting and security providers (Cloudflare) process IP addresses and browser characteristics to serve the site and block abuse.

Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that visitors using our chat assistant and instant estimator are humans, not bots. Turnstile runs invisibly and processes limited browser and network signals to make that call. Its handling of that data is described in Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

What we do with it

  • Provide quotes, schedule work, perform services, and bill for them.
  • Answer your questions (including via the AI chat assistant).
  • Contact you about your service — appointment reminders, weather delays, invoices.
  • Keep the site and our systems secure.

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with the service providers that run our infrastructure (hosting, AI processing, email/SMS delivery), and only as needed to operate.

Text messages (SMS program)

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive service-related text messages from Grasswhoopin' — appointment confirmations, reminders, on-my-way notices, and billing notices. Message frequency varies with your scheduled service. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, or STOP to opt out at any time.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies strictly to run the site: a session cookie if you sign in to the customer portal or admin, and Cloudflare's security cookies. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
